The Power Search database is a powerful research tool and you have 24/7 access. This tool searches across ALL of the GALE databases we subscribe to (Academic OneFile, World History in Context, High School in Context and U.S. History in Context) at one time. 

Note: If you are accessing this database off campus you will need a password.

Encyclopedia Britannica

These resources are password protected and differ from the GALE resources. 

 

 

Encyclopedia Britannica offers leveled encyclopedias for your research and class projects.  

 

 

 

Encyclopedia Britannica Image Quest is a collection of photos that are approved for use in your school related projects. No worrying about Copyright issues--just be sure to cite the images properly!

The SORA library will connect you to the Roanoke County Schools eBook collections as well as to the Roanoke Valley Libraries if you have a library card.  This app is available through your Classlink account.
