Roanoke County (Virtual High School)

Things to know about your Roanoke County or Virtual High School (VHS) course.

1. Classes are taught through Blackboard by one of our county teachers online.  Students will communicate with their teachers via email or phone and can arrange meeting times if needed.

2. Classes DO NOT start at the beginning of the semester they have their own beginning and ending times. See Guidance for more info.

3. These classes require discipline and organization to be successful. Keeping up with your work is a must!

4. "Summer reading" takes place during the first semester of most online English classes. See Guidance for more info.

5. These classes are not the same as Virtual Virginia classes.
