ACT, SAT and PSAT Information
PSAT, SAT and ACT
PSAT
The PSAT will be given at Glenvar on Saturday, October 26th!
This is the nationwide Saturday testing date set forth by College Board. Roanoke County only offers this date for testing.
We recommend the following students sign up to take the PSAT:
· Juniors: who are planning to attend college should take the PSAT. The best SAT practice is the PSAT because it covers the same topics. In addition, the PSAT taken in the junior year is the qualifier for the National Merit Scholarship Program.
· Sophomores: We encourage sophomores to take the test. Benefits include receiving feedback on areas of strength and weaknesses, help with preparing for the SAT, and to see how their performance on an admissions test might compare with that of others applying to college.
PSAT will be digital again this year.
We currently have 100 spots open for testing. Please be sure to register by Friday, September 27, 2024. THIS IS A HARD DEADLINE!
