Highlander Announcements

Today is September 3rd and it is an A day. 

• Seniors: Reminder that the spirit committee is meeting in the library tomorrow morning at 8AM. 
• Seniors: The meeting to plan your HOCO hall decor is on September 10th at 8am in the library. 
• Just a reminder, high school students are not permitted in the middle school. 
• If you are interested in joining the Indoor Track program, please join us starting Oct 15^th after school from 3:45 to 5 for preseason conditioning every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. In order to participate, you need to have an updated VHSL sports physical on file with Mr. Murray. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Loder at bloder@rcps.us.
• There will be a baseball interest meeting at 8:00am next Tuesday, September 10th, in Coach Hamilton’s middle school room 141. All 9-12th graders interested in playing should plan to attend.
• Please get your parking permits from Ms. Warren in the front office if you have not already done so. We will begin checking vehicles this week.
• School picture day is Thursday, Sept. 5th. See our website for more information.
• There are several colleges visiting over the next few weeks. Sign-ups are outside the counseling office.  See Mrs. Gibson for more info:

• College Fair is at the Salem Civic Center, September 17^th from 6pm to 8pm.
• ASVAB testing will be September 16th at 8:30 AM. See Mrs. Gibson in the Career Center for more information.
• Seniors: If you have not had your senior portraits made, please do so ASAP. See Ms. Farris if you have any questions.
