Dr. Corie Franklin

Glenvar High School is a special place!  As a graduate of GHS I know firsthand the caring community that exists here.   My diploma from Glenvar set me on a path to earn both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Virginia Tech and my doctorate from Liberty University.  As a history teacher, I fell in love with working with students.  They openly share their hopes, experiences, challenges, and sense of humor.  We are here for them!  Together, our administrative team, faculty, and staff put an extraordinary amount of time and effort into providing the students with memorable experiences and preparing them for their lives after graduation.  Please don’t hesitate to contact us with your questions or concerns. -Maintains athletic finances
-Supervises athletic events
-Scheduling and transportation of VHSL activities
-Supervises athletic eligibility
-Maintains athletic facilities
-Maintains an athletic calendar

Sheryl Warren - School Secretary

-Administrative Secretary
-Maintains Central Office reports
-Handles payroll
-Answers main school phone
-Handles school mailings
-Calls for pre-arranged substitutes/AESOP monitor

Sheryl Morris - Bookkeeper

-Handles school money and finances
-Handles all purchase orders
-Handles school insurance
-Issues monthly financial statements

Sharon Kidd - Attendance

-Maintains daily attendance records
-Oversees check in/out
-Issues tardy slips
-Creates daily attendance and absentee records
-Contacts parents of absent students

Officer Ayers - Resource Officer

-Resource to faculty and students
-Acts as liaison between school and police department
-Enforces local and state laws within the school
-Responds to emergency situations
